How is our weighted throw different from our weighted blanket?
Our weighted throw is a smaller and lighter version of our traditional weighted blanket. It’s a living room throw measuring about the same size as a small blanket. As the throw is much lighter (8 lbs) than our weighted blankets, it can easily be moved from room to room around the house and enjoyed individually or by the whole family.
Which size and weight do I choose?
Our weighted throw is a one-size-fits-all product. It is offered in a single size and weight, namely 42x72 inches and 8 lbs. There is no need to choose a size or weight, unlike our weighted blankets. The throw is ideal for one person, but also suitable for two or shared with the family.
Can my child use the weighted throw?
Children 8 years and older can use the weighted throw under parental supervision.
Is the blanket machine washable?
Absolutely! The protective cover can easily be machine-washed and tumble-dried. To maintain its longevity, we recommend washing it on a delicate cycle and tumble drying it at a low temperature.
What is the throw made of?
The cover is made of quality polyester fabric, a very soft, thick, and lustrous material. The weighted interior is made entirely of quality cotton (100%) containing micro glass beads segmented into small squares to ensure their even distribution. The blanket and cover fit snugly together with ties that prevent the blanket from shifting or bunching.
Are there any contraindications?
If you have a medical condition, always consult your doctor before using a weighted product. Your doctor will be able to make recommendations on the product’s weight, size and how long you should use it. The weighted throw is intended for use in adults and children 8 years and older: do NOT use the throw on infants, babies, and children under 8 years of age. Please do not use a weighted throw on a child who is unable to move around independently without assistance.
Return policy
We accept returns or exchanges within 15 days after you have received your order. While we're sure you'll love your weighted throw, if for any reason you're not satisfied with the product, we'll give you your money back. You will only have to cover the shipping costs to return the product to our warehouse.
**Please note that for hygienic reasons, returns /exchanges or refunds will only be granted if the weighted blanket is returned in its original condition. We will not grant refunds for products that have been damaged, soiled or washed.**
